Technical Operations Intern

<p></p> <p><strong>Technical Operations Intern</strong></p> <p>Minitab is seeking an intern to join the Technical Operations department at our State College headquarters. This department includes desktop support technicians, network engineers, and cybersecurity engineers.</p> <p><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Receive and log IT inventory</li> <li>Move and set up computer equipment in various offices</li> <li>Set up and relocate desks and computer furniture as needed</li> <li>Set up, transport, and test workstations, docking stations, monitors, and other equipment</li> <li>Provide limited support for desktops and laptops</li> <li>Troubleshoot and perform minor hardware repairs</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in a program focused on Information Sciences and Technology or a related field</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong written communication skills</li> <li>Ability to quickly learn new software applications</li> <li>Effective communication with all levels of management, co-workers, and external parties</li> <li>Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills</li> <li>Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and be flexible</li> <li>Ability to work with limited supervision</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams)</li> <li>Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English</li> </ul> <p></p> <p>Candidates Should expect the following: </p> <ul> <li>A structured intern program offering social activities and networking opportunities with other interns as well as Minitab colleagues including our CEO. <em>Ever taken a tour of Beaver Stadium?
