The Associate will support underwriters and agents to ensure delivery, follow-up and servicing requirements of all new business and renewal accounts. This Role will work an In-Office Schedule in Our Red Bank, NJ Office. Responsibilities: <ul type="disc"> <li>Develop the ability to perform risk selection and analysis by examining and evaluating documents such as application forms, inspections reports, financial reports, product brochures, company referral agreements, and other pertinent documents to determine the degree of risk, underwriting, and market selection.</li> <li>Build relationships with agents through in-house placement of new business.</li> <li>Effectively communicate with agent or broker clients, company underwriters, internal staff, and management to obtain additional information, quote rates, as well as servicing existing accounts.</li> <li>Connect with carrier underwriters to assist in learning coverage, guidelines, and technology.</li> <li>Maintain renewal book of business/premium as required.</li> <li>Address assigned workload within quality, productivity and service standards as established by the company/underwriting guidelines.</li> <li>Appropriate and timely response to questions posed by brokers, clients, underwriters, and other company personnel.</li> <li>Special projects as needed.</li> </ul> Requirements: <ul type="disc"> <li>Bachelor’s Degree preferred or working experience within the insurance vertical.</li> <li>1-3 years of similar related job experience in the insurance industry supporting Personal Lines.</li> <li>Functional knowledge of product offerings, insurance concepts, practices, and procedures.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and drive for customer excellence.</li> </ul> <div class="content-conclusion">Want the opportunity to build something new?
