Junior Exercise Planner

<div class="col-xs-12 no-horiz-padding"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Dynamis is seeking Junior Exercise Planner to support exercise planning, conduct, and evaluation for a government agency. Dynamis provides full-spectrum exercise support services in accordance with Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) guidelines for discussion- and operations-based exercises addressing all-hazards threat scenarios for critical infrastructure owners and operators. While the focus of the Infrastructure Security Exercise Support Services contract is to conduct exercises to test and validate plans and capabilities against physical security and natural hazard threats to critical infrastructure, Dynamis also supports exercises demonstrating the interplay of cybersecurity and physical security as they relate to critical infrastructure as well as the National Cyber Exercise Program (NCEP).</span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Location: </span></strong></span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Dynamis HQ in Falls Church, VA and client offices in Arlington, VA.</span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Support government personnel and assist SME and senior exercise planners in the design and execution of HSEEP-aligned exercises </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist more senior planners, both government and contract, in the development and completion of required exercise documentation, tracking of meeting logistics, taking notes, ensuring databases are accurate</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Facilitate portions of exercise planning meetings if needed</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist facilitators of discussion-based exercises as required</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Support the planning and design of operational exercises, specifically FSEs, to include serving as an exercise controller for exercise functions</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist in the development of strategic reports and standard operating procedures</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist in the development and tracking of metrics</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Answer Executive Secretariat Tasks</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Provide scheduling and meeting support</li> </ul> </div> <div class="col-xs-12 no-horiz-padding"> <h3><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Requirements:</span></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">U.S. Citizenship (must be able to obtain and maintain client suitability)</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor’s degree (In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, 2 years of experience, of which a minimum of 1 year must be specialized in the designing, planning and executing HSEEP-aligned or Department of Defense comparable exercises, to include the design and execution of operational exercises specifically FSEs)<br></span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Located within 50 miles of Arlington, VA<br></span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Preferred:</span></span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">DHS suitability<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">HSEEP certification<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Knowledgeable in HSEEP exercise types<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience with the design, facilitation, and execution of both discussion- and operations-based exercises, specifically Tabletop Exercises (TTXs), Functionals, and FSEs<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Knowledge of the DHS mission and organization<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience as an emergency manager, first responder, or similar field <br></span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience with critical infrastructure owners and/or operators</span><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><br></span></span></strong></li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Salary range:</span></span></strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;"> $40,000-50,000</span></p> <p><em><span style="font-size: 10pt;">The salary range for this position represents the anticipated hiring range.
